Lake District - Day 1

Tebay
So, myself and Laura though it would be a good idea to go away for a few nights camping in the Lakes this summer due to lack of fundage pending the Hawaii trip in Spring 2013.

So we bought all the supplies, loaded the car and off we went up the M6 heading towards the Keswick for a few days of log fires, tinned food and quite a bit of exploring. No trip up to the lakes would be complete without a visit to the best service station in the UK, Tebay! How many service stations have a duck pond, their own farm with farm shop and a BBQ where you can fresh burgers made on the farm? None that I know of.

When we eventually go the tent up, we are all set and ready to go. The views from the campsite were unbelievable. The air was so fresh and so peaceful. I really could get used to it.

We paid the deposit for the fire pit and bought some wood to burn and keep us warm that night. The weather was outstanding  A clear sky, perfect for sitting outside and chilling out with some music.
